Barrel-aged sour blonde ale with Frontenac Blanc & Lacrosse grapes

We are proud to introduce the first-ever bottling of the first-ever beer we have made with locally-grown and pressed white wine grapes. These grapes were grown by Dan Knier and the Hocking College viticulture team, and pressed by local winemaker Benjamin Beha (check out his place, Bethany Ridge Winery). What would we do without friends…
This 2 year old, foeder-aged mixed-fermentation blond ale was refermented on this grape must, and bottle conditioned for months before release.
Tasting notes: Moderate acidity, oak vanillins and tannins, white wine perfumey notes, very little “funk”. Dry and refreshing.
