100% Ohio-grown pale lager with spruce tips.

We brew Spruce Crispy once a year with spruce tips from our Norway Spruce trees, grown just footsteps from our brewery doors. Every spring, when the tips are at their brightest green, we pick them and add them to this beer, which as of 2025, is a pale lager (we used to brew this as an amber lager, but we can’t get the malt ingredients neccesary to make it a 100% Ohio-grown amber lager anymore, so we changed the recipe.) Spruce is one of our favorite local adjuncts to add to a beer, so we can’t recommend this beer enough!

Tasting notes: Spruce on the nose, overlaying a malty but pale lager. Clean, crisp lager flavor with a moderate, snappy and lively spruce flavor. Invites multpile pints.
