This blend of barrel-aged, sour wheat ales was re-fermented on over 1.5 lbs of passionfruit puree per gallon. The brightness and intensity of the fruit really shine in this one! We recommend not aging it for too long, maybe a year at most, to get the most vivid fruit character. It will still taste great later but the passionfruit intensity will diminish somewhat. Passionfruit is clearly not a local fruit for us, but as with all of our beer, it starts with a base of Ohio grown grains, malted by our good friends at Haus Malts, in Cleveland, Ohio.
