Last reminder for tomorrow’s #internationalwomensd Last reminder for tomorrow’s #internationalwomensday celebration from 2-5 PM! We’re tapping “Untamed Shrew” at 2 with the @matriotsohio on Sunday 3/8. March is Women’s History Month, so while we are sipping this beer brewed by the women+ of Little Fish, the Matriots will be hosting some Women’s History trivia and doing some education on the work they do to advocate for women running for public office. Untamed Shrew is a brown ale with sorghum, spicebush, ginger, and pink peppercorn. $1 from every pint sold in our taproom, from now until this batch of beer is gone, will go to the Matriots’ work!

If you aren’t familiar with Italian Pilsner, it’s not far off from a German Pilsner, but it has some distinct differences. The bitterness tends to be a little lower for one thing, and most importantly, they are almost always dry-hopped for a refreshing, green burst of hop aroma and flavor. We hop ours with German Huell Melon and Ariana hops, both in the kettle and dry hop stage. These hop varieties contribute a classic noble herbal/spice aroma with hints of fresh melon and lemon. And of course, it’s lagered for weeks before we package it. Try some today, it might become your favorite spring beer!
