Hazy I.P.A. brewed in our only fermenter without glycol jackets (FV-5), with the only yeast capable of making clean-tasting ale at 90+ degrees Fahrenheit: kveik. The strain of kveik we prefer for Hazy I.P.A. is “Espe”, which produces a “fruit cup” ester profile that compliments classic juicy / hazy hops.
Mashed with a base of Haus pale and wheat malts, plus some carapils and flaked oats for body. Hopped in the kettle with 2023 Pink Boots Blend and Mosaic. Dry hopped with Pink Boots, Mosaic Cryo, and Nelson Sauvin.
Flavor Profile: Aromas of pineapple, white grape, and citrus. Hop flavor integrates seamlessly with soft & fluffy malts. Very low bitterness, with a light hop spice. High focus on drinkability.
6.5% ABV, gluten reduced.
