This extremely small batch is the first beer we have made with plumcot fruit (a plum-apricot hybrid) from trees we planted 4 years ago, when we first started Little Fish.
The base beer is lambic-inspired, brewed with barley, wheat, and aged hops, and fermented in oak barrels for over a year. It was then refermented on 1.25 pounds per gallon of estate-grown plumcots, and bottle conditioned.
Less than 12 gallons was produced! We love it. We hope to make more next year.
