Imperial Stout (on Nitro)

Just a little something extra we had leftover from a barrel-aging project…but maybe this will see a more regular showing?

Corvid Thanatology is the non-barrel-aged base beer of an imperial stout that went almost entirely to barrels. We really liked it fresh too, so we nitro’d up a bit for the taproom.

Tasting notes: All those good things you want in an imperial stout including toasty coffee, chocolate, burnt raisin, and marshmallow notes. Big velvety body, emphasiszed by smooth nitro. Belying of a much lower ABV than actually it has.
