Bourbon Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout with Amburana and Palo Santo Woods.
A single barrel of imperial stout, which was tasting extra delicious, was kegged off by itself to make this very small batch of beer. The beer aged for 22 months in Heaven Hill barrels, with Palo Santo and Amburana wood staves added to the barrel. The result is a delicious blend of wood character including Bourbon, minty spice from the Palo Santo, and cinnamon / baking spice from the Amburana.
